Celebrate Independence Day in Decatur at their annual July 4th Celebration
Join the people of Decatur for an evening full of celebrations coming up this July 4th at 6pm. Kick-off right with the Pied Piper Parade downtown starting at First Baptist Church of Decatur, 308 Claremont Ave. After the parade, stop and enjoy the Concert on the Square at 7pm in the Community Bandstand and featuring the Callanwolde Concert Band. When the music ends, wrap up the night with a fireworks show at dark, starting at approximately 9pm.
The best part? It’s all free!!

SpringsFest - stop by Powder Springs for their annual 4th of July festival
Celebrations start at 12pm on July 4th! SpringsFest is a real one-stop-shop for a day of fun with the entire family:
Game Trucks, Kids Corner, Face Painting, Bouncy Houses, Artisan Vendors, Local Vendors, Handmade Goods, Live Music, Live Performances and a DJ!

Grab your swimsuit and head to the water
Piedmont Park Pool in Midtown
Not only does Piedmont Park have a pool, but they have a FOUR-lane pool and beach entry to the park with a channel just for floating. You don’t have to lug the cooler to this one either because they have concessions!
The Aquatic Center & Pool will be open 12pm – 5pm on Saturday and Sunday with a one-time access fee of $5 per person.

Garden Hills Pool in Peachtree Heights
Garden Hills Pool in the heart of Buckhead is the place to be this summer for family fun.
Best news? Free swim hours for the general public began on June 25th and go daily from 10am-12:45pm. After that, you can swim from 10am-5pm for just $5 per person.
